Intended audience
Dansio is intended for people aged 16 and over.
Account information
Dansio uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. Your account can include a Firebase user identifier, email address, display name, and profile photo URL. This information lets you sign in and keeps each account's saved library separate.
Your videos and library
Videos imported or recorded through Dansio are copied into private app storage on your device. Saved titles, local file references, links, section boundaries, playback speed, mirroring, and reset settings are stored in an on-device database. Dansio does not upload your local video files to its Firebase services or RevenueCat. The app excludes its storage from Android backup and device transfer.
YouTube and TikTok videos load through their embedded players. Those providers receive requests from your device and may process network, device, and playback information under their own policies. Opening an external support or policy page also sends a request to its hosting provider.
Free additions and subscriptions
Firebase Firestore stores the number of lifetime free additions and opaque video-admission identifiers under your account identifier. Firebase App Check uses Google Play Integrity to help verify that requests come from Dansio. Deleting an individual saved dance does not reset that allowance.
Google Play processes subscription payments. RevenueCat processes your account identifier, purchase history, subscription status, and the app/device information needed to validate and restore purchases. Dansio does not receive your full payment-card details. These services help grant Premium access, restore purchases, and prevent misuse.
App usage analytics
With your optional permission, Dansio uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage, including first opens, sessions, engagement, screen visits, foreground time on screens, and selected button actions. Google processes these events, an app-instance identifier, and device/app information for reports. Collection starts only after you enable usage reports. Dansio disables Advertising ID collection and advertising consent signals. The app does not add account identifiers, video files, titles, file paths, saved links, or sign-in tokens to its Analytics events.
Optional crash reports
With your separate optional permission, Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and diagnostic reports, including stack traces, installation identifiers, and device/app details, to help us fix failures. Reports may be stored locally before sharing is enabled. When usage reports are also enabled, Analytics events may appear as diagnostic breadcrumbs. Dansio does not set a Crashlytics user identifier or add video content, titles, links, or account details as custom diagnostic fields. Exception messages generated by the app or its dependencies can appear in diagnostic reports.
Both reporting choices are off until you enable them. You can use Dansio without optional reports and change your choices in Profile → Privacy choices. Usage reporting stops when you withdraw permission; Crashlytics fully applies opt-out after you restart Dansio. Withdrawing permission does not automatically erase reports already sent. Contact us with a data request.
Service providers
- Google and Firebase for sign-in, allowance storage, optional usage analytics and crash diagnostics, and store payments.
- RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management.
- YouTube and TikTok when you use their embedded videos.
- Infomaniak for hosting these public pages and our support email; it may process requests, IP addresses, and correspondence needed to provide those services.
These services may process data outside your country. Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or the safeguards applicable to your account.
Retention and deletion
Google Analytics event and user data retention is configured to 14 months, with retention reset on new activity disabled. This setting does not limit the retention of standard aggregated reports. Crash diagnostics follow Firebase Crashlytics retention practices.
Account information and the free-addition ledger remain while your account exists. Signing out, deleting a dance, or reinstalling the app does not delete your cloud account or reset its allowance. Local copies remain until you remove the app's storage. Deleting a library entry alone may leave its private video file on the device.
Use the account and data deletion page to submit a request. After verifying ownership, we aim to complete requests within 14 days. We remove your Dansio authentication account, associated allowance records, and customer data we control in RevenueCat. Google Play and other providers may retain transaction records under their own policies and applicable obligations.
Subscription cancellation is separate from account deletion. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play. Clear Dansio's storage in Android settings or uninstall it to remove device-local data.
Updates
We update this page when Dansio's data practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Contact us if you need a copy or have a question.
